Izza Kizza - Picture Perfect

10:15 Mixtape

2009? Could it be that we’ve actually gone that long without a new feature from the predictably unpredictable Izza Kizza? I’m frankly not sure what the Freestyle Alum spent the last year doing (besides Runnin) but let’s focus on the here and now, namely the worldwide premiere of his new, triumphant song Picture Perfect. Have some Patron in your hand? Word, then let’s proceed. Aptly-named producer Bill Blast sets things off with a horn driven, celebratory beat guaranteed to get even the narcoleptic moving (the man has indeed outdone himself with this one) and Iz responds with some cleanly delivered and fresh rhymes about, well, how fresh he is: “Don’t play a grown man’s game…boy it’s not for you / I spend leisure time leapin over obstacles / you got your heads in the ground like some ostriches.” Hip-hop lovers, feel free to frame this one. Thankfully we won’t have to wait long for more Kizza – something tells me we’ll hear at least one more leak before his upcoming mixtape, 10:15, drops sometime in November.
