J.Pinder x Trox - Life Is Simple (Pt. 1)

Producer:
Trox

Think J. Pinder‘s music doesn’t make sense? Well, neither does life, according to the Seattle rhymesayer. On a brand new promotional single, deceptively titled Life Is Simple (Pt. 1), the indie emcee gives listeners a crash course on his unique worldview, illuminating the complexities of the music industry as well as society at large. Portland-based producer Trox co-headlines the jam, layering a tuneful soul sample (Anyone I.D. it for me?) over a slow-rolling breakbeat as Pinder delivers his thoughtful bars. This record isn’t attached to a larger collaborative project, but the “Pt. 1” subtitle seems to indicate that more is on the way. In any case, a few rave Booth reviews might be just the thing to convince the duo to step back into the studio together sooner rather than later.
