Jade Alston - Sober

Single On A Saturday Night EP

While the word “sober” may carry quite a few unpleasant connotations, the music video for singer Jade Alston’s Sober is quite the opposite. It’s fun, it’s sporadic, and it’s downright delightful. No stranger to our pages, she made her DJBooth debut in April with Searching, Alston taps into her more upbeat side with Sober. Complete with a bedroom performance (please get your mind out of the gutter) the Walu-directed music video for Sober finds the Philly songstress coping with a “heart hangover” in the best way possible, a bubbly lip-synching session with friends complete with iPhone, broom, and comb microphones. Looking for more “heart hangover” music? Then check out Alston’s 10-song EP, Single On A Saturday Night, which was released late last year.
