Jimmy B ft. Big Sant - Black Army

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
KREATEV
Album:
Jimmy Eats World Redux

The DJBooth can be a scary place for an unsuspecting emcee. To help himself navigate the musical jungle, Booth newcomer Jimmy B has called on a site regular, Big Sant, for some help. Judging by the sound of single selection Black Army, however, it doesn’t appear JB needs all that much help. The T-Dot native rips up horn-powered, sample-heavy boardwork of KREATEV, displaying a grimy, high-pitched flow with a distinct ‘90s feel. Sant adds some Southern spice to the record, delivering his middle guest 16 with his highly powerful, commanding flow.  Digging the record? Black Army will be found on Jimmy’s Jimmy Eats World Redux mixtape, due out on May 15.
