Joe Budden ft. Emanny - More of Me

Featuring:
Producer:
Cardiak
Album:

Featured on our front page back in early October, the last single off Joe Budden‘s A Loose Quarter LP not only met with positive Booth reviews, but proceeded to spend four consecutive weeks (and counting) on our music charts. In election-season lingo, that’s what they call “a mandate from the people.”  Today, the Slaughterhouse rhymesayer returns to feed the masses with More of Me, a follow-up single which reprises She Don’t Put It Down‘s personal, confessional themes. Here, Cardiak‘s low-key R&B grooves back Budden as he describes how a picture-perfect relationship came crashing down under the weight of his and his girl’s combined emotional baggage. Frequent collaborator Emanny comes through with a silky chorus, as well as contributing backing vocals throughout the cut. How about it: has Joe got another hit on his hands? If you think so, you won’t want to miss the rest of the quality material slated for inclusion on A Loose Quarter, due out independently on November 23.
