Joyner Lucas - I’m Not Sorry

Posted about 3 years ago
Producer:
Om Unit
Album:
LFO’s (Low Frequency Oscillators)

Last month, Joyner Lucas introduced himself to our pages with What Do They Know, an incisive musical meditation on the topic of gender relations. On the follow-up, I’m Not Sorry, the New England-born, D.C.-based emcee showcases a grimier side of his artistic persona, lacing producer Om Unit‘s bass-heavy grooves with scorching battle rhymes. The record comes accompanied by Lucas’ first official video. Featuring jittery camera work, morbid imagery and a striking visual palette, the artist-directed clip makes a strong impression. LFO’s (Low Frequency Oscillators) is scheduled for release at an as yet-undetermined date this fall. In the meantime, of course, fans can keep their browsers locked for the latest song releases off the set.
