k-os - NYCE 2 Know Ya

Black On BLonde

Longtime fans of k-os will surely recall his ‘10 classic I Wish I Knew Natalie Portman. Although new video single NYCE 2 Know Ya is a vibrant cut about the twilight of a relationship, it wouldn’t make sense as a follow-up to his Queen Amidala inspired jam, because, quite frankly, who would ever end a relationship with Natalie Portman? Despite the song’s break up theme, k-os (Knowledge of Self) seems in relatively good spirits. Backed by an ebullient production, the Toronto native showcases his diverse styling, which are highlighted by his lively vocals and a knack for making an insanely catchy chorus; he even squeezes in a few bars as the icing on the cake. You can find NYCE 2 Know Ya on k-os’ brand new album, BLack on BLonde, which is now available for purchase via iTunes (see link above).
