Looking to break that record is dramatic new single The One That Got Away, which today gets the PYTs entranced with a remix featuring B.o.B. Maintaining the original Dr. Luke and Max Martin production, here Perry enlists the Atlanta emcee to use his thrilling charisma to help millions of teenagers across the world identify with the concept of an idealized, youthful and eternal romance. With yet another rapper collab under her belt (see the Kanye-assisted E.T.) Perry shows that she’s no Billy Jean as she pushes The One That Got Away to the top. If it reaches #1 successfully, it will be the sixth chart topping single from the album, breaking MJ’s all-time record for most singles to reach #1 from the same album (Thriller).
