Kevin Gates - Arm and Hammer

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
The Runners
Album:
By Any Means

Your mother might see the title of Kevin Gates’ new single and think that its about a cleaning product, but hip-hop listeners and Booth regulars all know what Arm and Hammer is really about. Hint: it isn’t about a environmentally-safe cleaning product. With a slurred yet heavy-hitting flow, the Baton Rough native gives the trap fiends a drug dealing anthem to end all drug anthems. His gritty, take-no-prisoners approach is complimented perfectly by a trap-heavy beat from The Runners. The combination of pulse-pounding production and this brash emcee will have you looking like Scarface before the first hook is recited. Arm And Hammer can be found on Gates’ upcoming By Any Means album, due out this coming Tuesday, March 18, for free and via iTunes. If you need a further re-up to get you ready for its release, peep Gates’ November appearance on DJ Spinatik’s Came From Nothin.
