Kid CuDi - Immortal

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
Kid CuDi
Album:

Back in 2009, alt-hip hop heavyweight Kid CuDi linked up with indie-rockers MGMT (as well as electronic act Ratatat) to create Pursuit of Happiness, a Man on the Moon inclusion which went on to achieve Platinum certification in 2011. On Immortal, the self-produced new single off his junior set, Cudder once again looks to the Middletown, Connecticut band for inspiration. A reversed snippet of album title track Congratulations bangs in the back as the artist recounts his transformation from an average (if slightly depressed) Joe into a superpowered musical dynamo. For this joint, lead effort Just What I Am and much more, check out INDICUD when it drops April 23, via G.O.O.D. Music/Universal Motown.
