Locksmith - Be Free

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
Ka$h
Album:

Not all prisons have iron bars; for some young women, good looks and the expectations that come with them can add up to a life sentence of dependence and insecurity. Following January’s Transitions and Livin Loaded, Locksmith‘s latest mixtape single, Be Free, tells the life story of one such individual, an aspiring singer and actress he met while she was busing tables at a private party. Ka$h provides a lightly jazzy, sampled instrumental to back the rhymesayer’s cautionary tale. Feeling it? You can look forward to more hot beats and thought-provoking verses on Lock’s The Green Box LP, scheduled for release later this month.
