Maffew Ragazino - Dipset Forever

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Foreign Allegiance

I’m not sure if it’s due to the moves Cam’ron‘s been making of late, something in the local water supply, or some other mysterious factor beyond my ken, but recent months have seen a resurgence of Dipset spirit among NYC rhymesayers. Brooklyn’s Maffew Ragazino becomes the latest rapper to pay homage to the illustrious East Coast collective with Dipset Forever, a freshly-minted single off his latest street album. Featured along with Kiki Humanmonochrome‘s freshly-minted visuals, the record finds Ragazino adopting some of Killa Cam’s trademark cadences and ad-libs (“What else?”) as he blazes a soul-sampled beat by Flint, Michigan collective Foreign Allegiance. Feeling it? More awaits on Brownsville’s Jesus, available for streaming and download exclusively in The DJBooth.
