MANNY ft. J57 - Visionary Music

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Pat Streater
Album:
TBD

What does the future hold for rap? If Visionary Music, the latest single and first DJBooth feature from MANNY, lives up to its title, we can look forward to a lot of jazzy instrumentals and complex, conversational bars. On this freshly-minted street single, the Brown Bag AllStars-affiliated lyricist lays out his blueprint for hip-hop to come in dense, poetically abstract verses. Assisting on the guest tip, BBAS member J57 jumps on Pat Streater‘s headphone-ready beat (seemingly sampled from a jazz-piano rendition of Disney classic When You Wish Upon a Star) to deliver an allusive closing 16. Interest piqued? Details have yet to be announced on the project to which this record is attached, but we’ll keep you in the loop as further information is revealed.
