Marky - Up, up and Away

Posted about 4 years ago
The Road Less Traveled

While Marky has parted ways with Universal since last we saw him back in May, he hasn’t let that shift in the weather change his plans; as far as the DMV buzzmaker’s concerned, he’s still in the fast lane, speeding toward the success that’s been his destiny from the get-go. On Up, up and Away, the emcee returns to the ever-popular topic of his impending triumph. With Yemi‘s chilly keys and submerged samples banging in the back, Marky tells listeners that, if he ever disappears from view, he’s probably up in the sky, “floatin away” towards a higher plateau of artistic excellence. Josh Stevens tops the record off with some ephemeral hook vocals. The Road Less Traveled as yet lacks a drop date, but those who like what they’re hearing can, of course, keep their browsers locked for the latest news and tunes.
