Mateo ft. Stacy Barthe - Looking You Up

Posted 4 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Krucial Keys
Album:
Suite 823

In a musical climate where a R&B star seems to be born every other Tuesday, it really takes true talent to standout among the masses. With the release of Looking You Up, off his latest project Suite 823, it’s clear that Ohio-born crooner Mateo is a rare talent. Looking You Up is one of those songs that doesn’t feature belt-your-heart-out vocals or aggressive production, but still manages to suck you in thanks to the serenity of its core. Joining Mateo on Looking You Up is Surf Club’s Stacy Barthe, whose vocals are equally tranquil. Krucial Keys keeps the production relatively simple throughout Looking You Up, meshing Barthe’s airy vocals with a little bass, but kicking things up a bit towards the end. Lookout for Looking You Up on Mateo’s Suite 823, which will available for free download beginning on August 1.
