mdnt ft. Jez Dior - Dreamcatcher

Featuring:
Producer:
SmarterChild
Album:
None (Promo Single)

This morning, I referred to F.A.S.T. Ride, the latest song release off Yelawolf‘s Trunk Muzik Returns, as, “the kind of sh*t you’d blast at trunk-rattling volume from the bridge of your personal starship.” That, of course, raises a follow-up question: what will R&B-lovers be vibing out to a few hundred years from now? Booth newcomer mdnt (pronounced “midnight”), a Brooklyn-based purveyor of what he calls “future soul,” offers a potential answer in the form of new promo single Dreamcatcher. Released along with artistic official visuals by Colin Kelly, the record finds the Sing Off alumnus showcasing his plaintive falsetto vocals over an atmospheric synth backdrop by SmarterChild. Love Me to Death rhymesayer Jez Dior contributes guest bars. This joint is unattached to any forthcoming project, but those who like what they’re hearing can keep their browsers locked for all the latest from this promising up-and-comer.
