Mickey Factz - The New Rockstars (Culture)

Posted about 3 years ago
Producer:
June

Thanks to the epic Twitter rant between Jimmy Kimmel and Kanye West, you’ve probably heard all about Ye’s recent interview with BBC’s Zane Lowe. While you will undoubtedly hear all about it in the coming days, none of the talk will actually be about the music; so in between Kanye articles, be sure to check out The New Rockstars (Culture) from Mickey Factz. The cut, inspired from the interview, features a sludgy, grimy beat form producer June, which is littered with Kanye samples. On the mic, Mickey shares his thoughts on hip hop culture in a rapping rant as a passionate as Kanye’s, but without the extra (and unnecessary) dose of crazy. The New Rockstars (Culture) is not attached to his forthcoming, debut album The Achievement, but be on the lookout for the release of the set’s lead single in October.
