The Origin of Love

You may be new to the stylings of British pop star MIKA, but he certainly has quite a following across the pond. Since his album The Origin Of Love was released back in October, it has climbed into Top 10 charts all across Europe and even reached number 1 in France, propelling the young artist’s career album sales to over 9 million record sold. After a successful overseas career, the European sensation, who recently performed on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, is starting to catch on here in the good ol’ US of A. His new album is driven by its title track, Origin Of Love, a spacey, pop ballad which features MIKA’s trademark vocals as well as some unique chanting. MIKA looks to continue his successful run when Origin of Love is officially released to iTunes Stateside on December 3, via Island Records.
