Mike Baker the Bike Maker ft. Blind Stab - Provocateur

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
DJ Eleven
Album:
Provocateurs EP

Who’s knockin’ at the door? Mike Baker the Bike Maker, alias β€œthe Provocateur.” Not glimpsed on our pages since last November, when he wrapped up the promotional push for Booth-hosted street album Mike Baker Plays It Cool with the release of Brainstorm, the artist returns to our pages with a fresh sound and a brand new project. This freshly-released EP standout and almost-title track draws heavily from hip-hop’s disco infused beginnings, with DJ Eleven serving up a funky four-on-the-floor rhythm as the Bay Area emcee busts out some appropriately old-school flows. Fashion model/vocalist Blind Stab guests, engaging in some kitschy, catchy call-and-response with Mike on the hook. For this retro-informed jam, lead single Mike Check and more, cop Baker and Eleven’s Provocateurs EP, released earlier this week for purchase on iTunes.
