Nino Augustine - Another Reflection

From the Bottom of My Soul LP

Nino Augustine‘s very first DJBooth feature, August 2012’s Soul Kitchen, saw the Panama City representative delving into his autobiography to illuminate the movations behind his hustle. On new mixtape single Another Reflection, premiering in the Booth along with Pat Sunday and Juan Carmona‘s official visuals, he returns to that joint’s introspective themes. Over a piano-driven instrumental by late Japanese DJ and producer Nujabes, the emcee informs listeners that, although financial security is one of his goals, the emotional satisfaction of rocking the mic, the desire to set a good example for his brother, and his sheer love of music all loom larger in his mind than the pursuit of paper. If this heartfelt selection struck a chord, you’re sure to find more to your liking on new album From the Bottom of My Soul, available now via Augustine’s official site.
