NISSIM - World Heroes

Posted 3 years ago

However firmly rappers insist that they’re not role models, the fact remains that their lyrics exert a strong (if difficult to define) influence over young listeners. Knowing just how destructive words can be when used carelessly, Seattle underground rhymesayer NISSIM urges his peers to take responsibility for the messages they spread on World Heroes, a brand new single off his forthcoming full-length. The artist’s own production, an atmospheric synth arrangement driven by a throbbing electronic kick, amplifies the impact of his call to conscience. Sam Anderson of local band Hey Marseilles lends his weathered vocals to the chorus. Feeling it? More quality beats and thought-provoking bars await on Nissim’s self-titled LP, scheduled for digital release on Tuesday, September 17.
