After taking an unexpected, hip-hop joyride on the Mac Miller and Raven Sorvino-assisted Black Acura, Southern California trio Pac Div have returned with yet another offering from their forthcoming independently-released album GMB. The group’s latest offering, Truth, finds the West Coast spitters unleashing their melodic rhymes with the backing of an invitingly soulful backdrop reminiscent of decades prior. If the shout-out at the start of the record didn’t clue you in, Truth is produced by Pomona, California beatsmith and apparent “Jedi knight” Swiff D, who doesn’t hesitate to flaunt his sampling techniques on the record. Although Truth serves as the third song release from Pac Div’s GMB album, fans still have a solid month before the album is released on November 27 via iTunes.
