#TFGTuesday

If you wanted to bet on a young, up-and-coming emcee, you’d be wise to put money on Pell. The New Orleans native’s first Booth feature came in July and, since then, he has continued to impress, showing range, depth and, most importantly, skill on each record since. It looks like his hard work is starting to pay off, because his latest cut, Inner Peace, features a verse from highly-respected Southern emcee Big Sant. While the two might not share similar styles—Sant’s delivery is much more heavy-handed than Pell’s floating, cushioned flow—they both indisputably know their way around a beat. JR Jarris provides an airy, fluttery instrumental to back their bars. Inner Peace is the latest entry in Pell’s weekly #TFGTuesday series.
