Phil Adé ft. Killa Kyleon - You’re the One

Posted 4 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Sunny Norway
Album:
A Different World

Every day seems to bring a new leak from Phil Adé, and every leak seems to bring with it a new style. First there was the inspirational grinding of Monte Carlo Dreams, then there was the hazy, mellow, Mac Miller assisted Incense, and now we get some Southern fried bounce on new release You’re The One. For The One constant production collaborator Sunny Norway dips into the Pimp C playbook, throwing a chopped and screwed hook over soul guitars and sharp percussion, giving the typically clever and insightful Adé room to hustle and flow, promising any fine females in the proximity that their relationship isn’t going to go any further than the backseat of his car. Balancing out the track is the suddenly resurgent Killa Kyleon, who gets deeper than usual on an introspective guest verse that still manages to drip with Southern style. So remember ladies, as far as Phil and Killa are concerned you may not be the one, but You’re the One for tonight. This the final leak before Ade’s 2DopeBoyz presented album A Different World drops tomorrow, Tuesday July 19. Go get it.
