R.A. The Rugged Man ft. Hopsin & Jarren Benton - Underground Hits (Remix)

Featuring:
Producer:
Mr. Green
Album:

Back in April, R.A. The Rugged Man stepped into the Booth with Underground Hits, a single that managed to sound grimy despite being based around a Mozart sample (Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, to be specific). Today, the record returns in officially remixed form, packing fresh production as well as two newly-added guests. Though Wolfgang Amadeus has been jettisoned from the beat, Mr. Green achieves a similar effect via a delicate piano loop. Over the renovated instrumental, R.A. trades aggressive, tightly-wound verses with Funk Volume signees Hopsin and Jarren Benton. How does this rendition stack up against the original? As always, that’s for y’all to decide. The album version of Hits can be found on R>A.‘s Legends Never Die LP, out now via Nature Sounds.
