Richard Osborne - Nothing Personal

Nothing Personal EP

Back in mid-December, Ipswich, England’s Richard Osborne made his grand entrance into the Booth with Motive, a hip hop-informed selection that won positive reviews from our readership. On follow-up Nothing Personal, premiering in the Booth along with director Adam Templeman‘s official visuals, the unsigned singer/songwriter foregoes that joint’s upbeat swagger in favor of a more moody, contemplative vibe. Muckaniks’ ambient synth boardwork backs Osborn as he struggles to figure out where he stands with a certain woman. It ain’t the kind of love song you play to your boo on Valentine’s Day, but the ambivalence in the singer’s verses is eminently relatable, and his skillful, falsetto-laced vocals are sure to leave R&B-lovers hungry for more. If you’re feeling Nothing Personal, keep it locked for further details on Richard Osborne’s EP of the same name, which currently lacks a drop date.
