Ricky Blaze ft. Maino - Top Shottas

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Ricky Blaze
Album:
The Maestro

At the top of the month, beatsmith-turned-solo artist Ricky Blaze stepped into the Booth with Kill Em, a club-ready cut which failed to excite our readers despite an appearance from Dipset vet Jim Jones. Rather than flipping the script entirely on follow-up effort Top Shottas, the Fme Recordings signee tweaks his formula subtly, foregoing the aforementioned joint’s romantic themes in favor of grittier fare and giving his production a harder edge to match. This time around, it’s Hustle Hard/Atlantic emcee Maino who assists on the guest tip, opening his verse with a promotional shout-out to his crew (“Mafia, mafia, be a part of my mafia!”). Ricky Blaze’s forthcoming LP, The Maestro, is set to drop at an as-yet unspecified date in the near future. In the meantime, of course, fans can stay tuned for the latest song releases off the project.
