Rico Love ft. Tiara Thomas - To My Ex

Discrete Luxury Love EP

A record titled To My Ex can go in one of two directions. On the one hand, you have your weepy dedications to the one that got away, which typically feature the artist apologizing for past wrongs and begging the man or woman in question for a second chance. On the other, there’s Rico Love‘s latest EP single. Here, a self-produced synth/percussion beat backs the recording artist and producer as he trash-talks his former girl, reserving especially harsh words for her new man: “How you gon’ go from a triple O.G. to a n**ga who wish he could get it like me?” Rico’s Division 1 signee, Tiara Thomas, plays the title character, striking back at her label boss in an equally vituperative guest 16. Fans will be able to find To My Ex and much more on Rico Love’s Discrete Luxury EP, released today via iTunes.
