Rockie Fresh - Official

Producer:
Hit-Boy
Album:
None (Promo Single)

When an emcee says that something is “Official,” they are essentially describing a person, place or thing as real, genuine, and respected. In the case of MMG artist Rockie Fresh, who is fresh off his collaboration with Dr. Pepper for their One of a Kind project, it could mean a variety of things. The Chicago native could be describing producer Hit-Boy‘s production work as official, in the way that it’s both subdued and triumphant in the same breathe. The more likely scenario, however, is that the “official sh*t” that Fresh is alluding to is his very own work, the end result of a studio session with a talented peer in the music game. Lots of questions, but very few answers. Be on the look out for the forthcoming release of Rockie’s yet-to-be titled debut album.
