When storm clouds gather, most people hurry to the nearest shelter, for fear of getting their kicks wet. Sassieon Dupris rushes outside to practice his Dougie, according to the lead single (a Booth-exclusive world premiere!) off his forthcoming full-length. Of course, the Tulsa singer/songwriter’s not getting down just for the fun of it—he’s celebrating his imminent ascent to the upper echelons of the game. Over Quentin Miller‘s understated horns, Dupris announces, “This my decade, this my century / Next millennium, they gon’ remember me.Jr. Patton, a fellow T-Town repper, lends his melodic flow to verse two.
