ScienZe - The Quest(ion)

Lord Quest

Is there true love in ScienZe‘s future? That’s The Quest(ion) at the heart of the Brooklyn representative’s latest feature, single numero uno off his forthcoming street album. In dreamy, contemplative bars, the unsigned rhymesayer looks back on his previous romances, and wonders when he’ll finally find a woman he can spend forever with. The aptly-named Lord Quest mans the mixing boards, slicing and dicing a soulful vocal sample into an echo of the emcee’s queries. While there’s not telling what 2013 may hold for ScienZe’s love life, this ear-pleasing cut indicates that he’s headed in the right direction where music is concerned. Or have I got it twisted? If you agree with my assessment, you’ll want to keep your browsers locked to the Booth for further news and tunes leading up to the as yet unscheduled release of Ella.
