Smoke DZA ft. Chevy Woods - Gracias Malverde

Posted 2 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Kirk Knight
Album:
None (Promo Single)

Residents of Mexico’s Sinaloa highlands tell tales of Jesús Malverde, a bandit and outlaw who used his illicit gains to help the poor and disadvantaged before being executed by the authorities in 1909. Some have gone so far as to proclaim him the patron saint of narco-trafficking and, while the Vatican doesn’t recognize him, Smoke DZA most definitely does. On his latest promo single, the Harlem rhymesayer says Gracias Malverde, thanking the legendary criminal for his success in the game. Fresh off the release of Kilmer, Chevy Woods jumps on Kirk Knight‘s wobbly synth beat to deliver a little blunted block talk of his own. This joint isn’t part of a larger set, but those feeling it can, of course, keep it locked for the latest from both collaborators.
