Sol - Old Him

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
The Zillas
Album:
None (Promo Single)

Even when he’s “8,000 miles from home,” you can count on Sol to hold his fanbase down. Written on the night train to Bangalore, India and recorded in Chennai (while suffering from food poisoning thanks to an ill-advised trip to the local KFC), Old Him finds the Seattle native reflecting on how his world travels have changed his perspective on the standard of living he and his homies enjoy Stateside. Bandmates Neema Skeemz and Elan Wright, together known as The Zillas,  provide a tuneful backdrop for the artist’s bittersweet bars, enlisting Kirk Huffman and Kevin Lavitt to provide, respectively, background vocals and additional keys. This joint isn’t attached to any forthcoming project, but we in the Booth will be sure to keep you supplied with all the latest from the globally-minded rhymesayer.
