StartYourOwnRebellion - Wild & Crazy

Producer:
SoundwavVe
Album:
Terrorist

In today’s atmosphere of fear and paranoia, anyone who differentiates him or herself from the pack is liable to be labeled a criminal, a threat to society—even a Terrorist. In 3020, the year StartYourOwnRebellion call home, things have grown even worse; thus, they’ve made it their mission to improve their present by breaking down the boundaries that imprison us here in 2012. Tall order, right? But, judging by new single Wild & Crazy, Maza, Kid Digit-ø , Ceddy and 07017 are up to the task. SoundWaVe shows an appropriate lack of respect for genre on the production tip, crafting a rolling, 6/8 groove driven by rock instrumentation. Vocally, the crew take an equally eclectic approach, transitioning fluidly between sung, rapped, and rapped/sung bars as they celebrate the exhilaration that comes with mental freedom. Does this innovative jam leave you craving more adventurous material from the futuristic hip-hop crew? Keep it locked; while new album Terrorist has yet to receive a drop date, we’ll keep you supplied with all their latest dispatches from the 33rd Century.
