Styles P ft. Bun B - YO Trill Sh*t

Lex Luger
The Diamond Life Project

What’s a track reviewer like yours truly supposed to do when a record’s title sums up the contents as perfectly as that of Style’s P.‘s latest feature? Oh, right: I can waste space by posing rhetorical questions and talking about my writing process. With that out of the way, Yo Trill Sh*t is exactly what the label indicates: some certifiably trill sh*t. Not that you could expect anything less from the lineup the Ghost’s assembled here: with the ubiquitous Lex Luger manning the boards and UGK lifer Bun B (recently featured on Trae‘s I’m From Texas and Ace Hood‘s Double Cup) complementing the headliner’s street lyricism with a characteristically dope hook and middle verse, the record has the pedigree of a trunk banger par excellence. The Diamond Life Project, presented by D-Block and Diamond Supply Co., is scheduled for free release today.
