Tanya Morgan - For Real

Though Tanya Morgan recently contributed guest bars to Space Mountain, a track off Koncept‘s Malt Disney EP, it’s been a hot minute since we’ve brought you any new headlining material from the Brooklyn duo; their last feature, We Rollin’, hit our front page way back in fall of 2011. Today, the drought officially ends with the release of For Real, single numero uno off the crew’s long-awaited junior album. Here, 6th Sense‘s incandescent jazz-soul production gets heads nodding as partners-in-rhyme Von Pea and Donwill deliver a crash course in staying fly and keeping it one-hundred. For this refreshing, retro-informed banger and much more, check out Tanya Morgan’s Rubber Souls LP when it hits record stores and online retailers this summer. In the meantime, of course, you can keep your browsers locked for the latest tunes.
