Tay Butler ft. Haz Solo - Cuban Linx

Posted 2 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Derelle Rideout

As Raekwon gears up for the release of his sixth studio album, it’s the perfect time to return to the seminal debut set that laid the groundwork for his illustrious solo career. On this new single, unsigned emcee Tay Butler and his frequent collaborator, Haz Solo, do just that, donning their Cuban Linx for a musical tribute to the Chef. Derelle Rideout channels that classic Wu-Tang sound behind the boards, kicking his beat off with a classic kung-fu sample. The collaborators’ dense, deadpan verses heighten the record’s throwback feel. Linx isn’t part of a larger set, but we’ll keep you posted on Haz and Butler’s plans as further details emerge.
