The Black Opera - Balcony

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
Astronote
Album:
Libretto: of King Legend

What do The Black Opera see when they overlook the game from their Balcony seats? Nothing but a “buncha yellow back yellow back yellow back n**gas;” in other words, cowards. On the inaugural song release off the third and final installment in their BLACK OP: ERA 1 mixtape trilogy, the mysterious crew express their utter contempt for the trend-hoppers that currently dominate the hip-hop game, expressing their distance above the competition by analogy to an eclectic, but illustrious array of leaders; Martin Luther King, Jr., Malcolm X, King Tut and Abraham Lincoln all get name-dropped over Astronote‘s ominous rhythm section and “‘80s coke cinema synths.” Fans will be able to find this imperious banger and much more on The Black Opera’s Libretto: Of King Legend LP, which is currently awaiting a solid drop date.
