The Cranberry Show - Gravity

Not glimpsed on our front page since last December, when they dropped off reader-approved comp album inclusion Revelation, The Cranberry Show are back to (finally) ring in the new year with Gravity, a fresh cut off their next street album. Released along with official visuals by Syndicate Cartel, the record features crewmates Young Focus and Arcane trading characteristically witty, aggressive bars over Smashboiz’ tweaked sampling of Gorillaz’ Sound Check (Gravity) (part of the animated crew’s self-titled 2001 debut). Capped off with a Sixth Sense-esque twist ending, this lyrically unhinged selection is one of many quality joints to be found on The Jellyfish Theory, due out digitally on May 23.
