Most artists paint a lyrical picture of pleasure. Lost in all of the cars, jewels, whips and women, however, is the plain and simple fact that most aspiring rappers have it rough. Despite a streak of hard times, though, Taylor Gang representative Tuki Carter says, “It’s all Good.” Moving from Cali to ATL to pursue a career in music, Carter risked everything he had and as a result was homeless for a period of time. As he describes on his latest single, the first off his forthcoming self-titled mixtape, these trials and tribulations set in motion his ability to remain on the proverbial “grind.” Featuring label boss Wiz Khalifa, who handles Snoop Lion-esque hook duties, Good will appear on Tuki; keep it locked to The DJBooth for all the latest details on the project.
