Until The Ribbon Breaks ft. Mr MFN eXquire - Pressure

A Taste of Silver EP

A singer and producer newly signed to the Republic roster, Until the Ribbon Breaks introduces his innovative blend of hip-hop and pop to our pages with a brand new, non-album buzz record. The expanded version of a cut released to the ‘net last year, Pressure begins on a brooding note, with the artist addressing cryptic lines to an ex-love over a melancholy piano progression accented by syncopated vocal samples and ominous guitar riffs. When labelmate Mr. MFN eXquire grabs the mic for his newly-added guest verse, however, the joint does a 180, transforming into a grimy, synth-driven underground banger before returning to its original groove on the back. While Pressure isn’t attached to any forthcoming project, listeners can keep it locked for all the latest from the elaborately-named newcomer, as well as clicking here to peep the song’s viral video accompaniment.
