Village of Pharaohs ft. JAYO - Gone

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
WYZE
Album:

Last we heard from Village of Pharaohs, the First in Flight State underground heavyweights had journeyed Back to Cairo-lina to rest, relax and reflect on their progress. Enjoyable as it is to visit home, you’ve eventually got to say your goodbyes and get back to the hustle. On follow-up Gone, another Booth-exclusive world premiere, crewmates SkyHigh and WYZE and guest spitter JAYO shift their gaze to the road ahead. But their focus is less on physical travel than on inner space. Backed by WYZE‘s hazy synth-sample boardwork, they strive to cultivate a mental attitude that’ll bring them success in the game: “Hopin’ for a better lifestyle, so my mind I’ve got to reprogram.” Has this mellow, reflective joint left you craving more? Then watch our pages for further singles leading up to the crew’s 2014-bound full-length, Pharaodigm Shift .
