Season of the Assassin

One of the most hotly-contested issues in recent American history is that of gun control – while some want to get deadly weapons out of the city streets, others will fight tooth and nail to preserve their Second Amendment right to walk into Starbucks carrying a loaded assault rifle

to bear arms. On his latest single, Booth newcomer Vinnie Paz suggests a novel compromise: Kill ‘Em All. Backed by C-Lance‘s menacing string-choral sampled boardwork, the underground emcee announces his intent to waste anyone who crosses him, from fellow rappers to clergymen of all denominations. Topped off with the equally aggressive guest bars of Broad Street Bully Beanie Sigel, Kill Em All may not be the most articulate political statement in hip-hop history, but it’ll be music to the ears of heads who like their rap joints raw, edgy and uncut. If that sounds like you, you’ll most definitely want to check out Paz’ Season of the Assassin LP when it hits stores and online retailers June 22.
