Wiz Khalifa - We Dem Boyz (Hol Up)

Detail

Unless you have been off the internet all day today (which seems highly unlikely if you are reading this feature), then you probably know that Kanye’s College Dropout turned 10 years old. If all goes well for Wiz Khalifa, we will be celebrating the release of his Blacc Hollywood LP in a decade. With We Dem Boyz (Hol Up) as the set’s lead single, so far so good. Setting the stage, Detail cooks up a boisterous, trap-heavy beat driven by the matching, thunderous drums. Atop the boisterous production, Wiz channels 808s Kanye with a subtly AutoTuned flow, dishing out some brash bar after bar. A slight twinge on his vocal is what drives the effort and gives it such a unique vibe. As of yet, Blacc Hollywood LP does not have a set date, but keep it locked to The DJBooth for more from the Steel City hitmaker.

Update: We have added the Ethan Lader-directed visuals for Wiz Khalifa’s We Dem Boyz single.
