Wrekonize ft. Crooked I - Adrenaline

Album:

Adrenaline, also known as epinephrine, is an endogeneous hormone and neurotransmitter released into the bloodstream in response to stressful or emotionally arousing events. While there’s nothing especially anxiety-inducing about listening to Wrekonize, the promise of another dope record from the ¡MAYDAY! frontman will undoubtedly cause fans to experience a rush of the aforementioned chemical. As it happens, that’ll put you in the perfect mindframe to enjoy the cut itself, which features the Floridian spitter trading rapid-fire bars with Slaughterhouse mic-murderer Crooked I over frequent collaborator Seven‘s jittery percussion and distorted vocal samples. Just so we aren’t complemely overwhelmed by the lyrical pyrotechnics, Wrek offers a periodic breather in the form of a moody, sung hook. Like what you’re hearing? This is just one of many bangers to be found on Strange Music solo debut The War Within, freely streamable in the Booth and available for purchase wherever fine music is sold.
