Xperience & MTK ft. Q Dot & Ashley DuBose - Take Me Back

Wisdom may come with age and Xperience, but most of us have, on occasion, yearned for the simplicity of childhood. The Seattle newcomer whose stage name I oh-so-cleverly worked into that opening sentence is no exception to that rule. Making its world premiere right here on our front page, EP standout and future single Take Me Back finds the artist looking at his past through nostalgia’s rose-colored glasses. Project co-headliner MTK mans the mixing boards, crafting a lush, jazzy instrumental backdrop for his partner’s wistful bars, as well as the guest rhymes of Seattle emcee Q Dot. Capped off with a hook by Life Goes On songstress Ashley Dubose, Take Me Back is just one of many high-quality jams to be found on Xperience’s Revelations EP, scheduled for independent release later this month.
