YONAS - Temptation

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
Lucian Walker
Album:
The Black Canvas

For a talented young artist from a humble background, the music industry offers no shortage of Temptations, but if there’s anyone with the strength of will to make it to the top without compromising his principles, it’s Yonas. Beginning with a snapshot of the artist in his darkest hour (“As I sit here with a gun on my chin, trying to sort through all the troubles I’m in…”),  the lead single off the Big Apple representative’s next studio album develops in a more hopeful direction, with Yonas emphasizing his determination to beat out his inner and outer demons to achieve his dreams, both for himself and for the people who have supported him in his journey. Producer Lucian Walker provides a synth-driven beat with a soaring, rock-infused chorus. The Black Canvas is scheduled to drop February 4, via iTunes. In the meantime, fans can still stream and download Yonas’ last street album, The Transition, for free in The DJBooth.
