Port-au-Prince native and current Daytona Beach resident Haitian Fresh has gained a strong fan base the old-fashioned way– that is, with his big smile and even bigger heart. Already signed to Wyclef Jean‘s Sak Pasé Records, such an appeal has led to his signing with hip-hop’s best-known independent distributor, Koch Records. Following the indie success of his previous single, Gon’ Jock, Mr. Haiti moves ahead with a strip club follow-up, Dancin’ with No Panties On. Although Fresh is credited as the lead artist, he only contributes twelve bars; former Pretty Ricky lead singer, Pleasure P, provides most of the vocals (auto-tune included) and producer CP Hollywood supplies the beat. The emcee’s debut album, Haitian Fresh: Mr. Haiti, has a planned late 2008 release.
