Kendrick Lamar's 'DAMN.' Expected to Pass 200 Million First-Week Streams
Kendrick Lamar is on pace to become the second artist ever—and the first not named Drake—to generate more than 200 million album streams in one week.
Released on Friday, April 14, Lamar's fourth full-length album DAMN. collected more than 50 million streams in the first 24 hours, according to HDD.
Final first-week sales numbers won't be available until Friday, April 21, but early projections call for 460-485k SPS (sales plus streaming) units, of which 275-300k are pure (digital and physical) sales.
