Frank Ocean Debuts New Song "Provider," It's a Vibe

"Provider" is classic Frank—moody, lush, minimally produced, and emotional.

In case we needed another reminder that Frank Ocean marches to the beat of his own drum, on Sunday evening (August 27), while MTV was broadcasting the Video Music Awards and HBO was airing the season finale of Game of Thrones, the enigmatic singer aired episode 07 of his blonded RADIO program on Apple Music station Beats1.

During the program, Ocean debuted a brand new song, entitled "Provider," which can be streamed below. It is also available in the form of a pseudo lyric video on Frank's website.

"Provider" is classic Frank—moody, lush, minimally produced, and emotional. The song, which sounds like it was meant for Blonde, comes one week removed from the one-year anniversary of Ocean's critically-acclaimed 2016 full-length album.
